Nicky is a senior transformation manager with experience of managing complex change in large public sector organisations, design and development of new delivery models, leadership of public sector savings programmes and wider public sector reform. She has over 30 years of operational management experience of large public sector services and board experience as a trustee and director of several national, regional and local charities. Nicky has served on several national ministerial committees in a former role as UK President of the Society of Chief Librarians, the public sector body representing local authorities. She is currently the Director of Transformation at Manchester City Council, focusing on the development of strength-based social work and a large digital health programme. She has been a member of Girlguiding for 48 years! and loves going to tai chi classes.
