Youth Focus NW Board announces changes and is recruiting for 3 new trustees

Youth Focus North West announces New Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer and seeks three new Trustees:

Youth Focus North West (YFNW) is an organisation with strong youth work roots. We work with partners and young people across 23 Local Authority areas to promote and support youth work and services for young people. We think that working with young people and engaging them in civic activity improves their lives and benefits wider communities. Our youth voice work gives young people opportunities to have a voice where it counts across the North West and beyond.

We believe that we enable North West young people to make a difference. Recent achievements include:

-supporting the pioneering Youthforia where young people run their own forums to debate and plan issues for wider discussion including at the UK Youth Parliament (achieving the highest regional turnout in the associated Make Your Mark ballot for the fifth year running).

-Helping the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to develop and run its Youth Combined Authority where young people have a direct input to sub-regional and mayoral policy.

-Complementing our partnership with United Utilities in developing our Pioneers of Sustainable Hope Scheme (POSH).

(for more information on what we do and our impact please see our attached Theory of Change, Impact Report and Membership Offer)
