The Trustees and CEO of Youth Focus North West (YFNW) are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic individual. A new Deputy CEO to manage and develop our repertoire of programmes and networks. This is an exciting post within a refreshing organisation with the opportunity to grow our work within and beyond North West England.
Youth Focus North West is an organisation with strong youth work roots. We work in partnership with organisations and young people to have a voice where it counts. We believe that working with young people and engaging them in civic life contributes to improving the lives of young people. Our youth voice work gives young people opportunities to make a difference locally, regionally and nationally.
We are looking for an experienced youth work professional with exemplary project management skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in partnership with young people, practitioners, services and organisations. We directly deliver and collaborate on programmes. Furthermore, we support work with young people by providing advice, guidance and training to both young people and practitioners. We manage and broker a number of relationships and networks for services and organisations that influence and impact on policy and practice.
YFNW is a knowledgeable team of staff and an engaged and supportive board of trustees. Candidates will need exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead a competent, talented and enthusiastic team of staff and young people. Understanding and ensuring quality youth work practice is a prerequisite.
The successful candidate for the Deputy CEO Post will be a dynamic manager, with significant experience of developing productive relationships with young people, partners, trustees and stakeholders. We are looking to increase opportunities for youth voice and youth work training and to continue to diversify income so you will need to demonstrate experience in developing successful partnerships and relationships.
